In Our Words…

This Sunday morning is one of the most exciting of the year as we welcome the newest members of the WPI community to campus! The Class of 2016 is yet another extremely impressive group of young women and men, and we are thrilled that they are joining the ranks of WPI students and alumni. I am particularly pleased to report that this year was the most competitive ever for admission to WPI, giving even more credit to the achievements of the members of the incoming class!

To the members of the Class of 2016: in my time here I cannot think of a more exciting point for you to be entering WPI. We have several brand new facilities and several others under construction, the faculty is continuing to grow and expand in size and stature, the student body is just as impressive, and the campus just looks gorgeous! I urge you to take advantage of all of the opportunities—expected and unexpected—that you’ll encounter this year and in the years to follow. It’s going to be hard work, but it’s also going to be great fun! Congratulations and good luck!
