Richard Resnick ’98 is CEO of Genomequest, a global provider and consistent pioneer in large-scale genomic software applications. Genomequest combines knowledge of the human genome with advances in computing power to provide critical, often life-saving information to major pharmaceutical companies, global agriculture firms, biotech firms, IP legal teams, genome centers, academic research centers, and diagnostic laboratories.
After completing his BS in computer science at UMASS Amherst, Richard earned his Master’s degree in computer science at WPI and then went on to complete an MBA at MIT’s Sloan School. With extensive experience building and growing life-sciences companies, Richard was previously CEO of Mosaic Bioinformatics, and global bioinformatics software head for Wyeth. He was previously a member of the Human Genome Project under Eric Lander at MIT.
