WPI adjunct professor Mitchell Sanders, who founded ECI Biotech in Worcester in 1998, was quoted in the Aug. 9 edition of SmartMoney, a digital publication of the Wall Street Journal.
Sanders, who completed a master’s degree in biology at WPI in 1988 and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 1992, spoke to SmartMoney about the cost effectiveness of manufacturing in Worcester. Sanders teaches advanced molecular biology in WPI’s Biology and Biotechnology Department and serves on numerous scientific and entrepreneurial boards at WPI and Clark University.
ECI Biotech operates out of 85 Prescott St. in WPI’s Gateway Park.
