The student working team consists of five members who are working cohesively on the construction and facilitation of Early Childhood Development elements in Flamingo Crescent Informal Settlement.

jbiebsJustin Brousseau

Justin Brousseau is the youngest of three boys from Millbury, Massachusetts. He is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at WPI and hopes to do that professionally someday. On campus, Justin is the President of the Interfraternity Council and the Captain of the Club Soccer Team. He also actively participates in his fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon. In his free time he enjoys singing, hiking, playing any sport, and laughing at his own jokes.

 

 

Jacquelyne DiTroiajac

Jacquelyne DiTroia grew up in Andover, Massachusetts where she resided for four years until moving to England and Ireland for an expatriate trip. Jacquelyne and her family returned to Andover for another 16 years until settling in their new home in Cape Cod. She is currently studying Biomedical Engineering with a specification in biomaterials and tissue engineering. Jacquelyne plays second base for the WPI Engineers Softball Team and is involved with her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. In her free time she enjoys playing guitar, singing, going to the beach, skiing and being with family and friends. After graduation, Jacquelyne aims to work directly with patients and doctors in the medical field.

 

malMalina Ibelle

Malina Ibelle is from Providence, Rhode Island where she still resides today. She is currently studying Civil Engineering with a concentration in environmental studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. On campus, Malina is captain of the Women’s Club Lacrosse Team, a member of Habitat for Humanity, and is involved in her sorority Phi Sigma Sigma. She is also a member of the schools American Society of Civil Engineers chapter, where she actively participates in the steel bridge and concrete canoe competition teams. Outside of school she is an avid Patriots fan, enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.

 

 

 

Andrés Monterrossoandres

Andres Monterroso is an international student from Guatemala City, Guatemala. After graduating high school, he decided to continue his studies abroad at Worcester Polytechnic Institute to get a major in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Business. Upon graduation, he aspires to become an entrepreneur in the medical field and eventually bring new technologies to his home country. His extracurricular activities include Omicron Delta Kappa and the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, where he serves as chapter president.  On his free time, Andres enjoys spending time with his friends, swimming, and eating different types of food.

 

 

krisKristin Olson

Kristin Olson grew up in sunny San Diego, California. After moving more than 2500 miles to snowy Massachusetts for school where she now studies chemical engineering, she is still getting used to the cold. Kristin is an active member of the WPI Women’s Crew Team and her sorority the Theta Mu chapter of Chi Omega. Outside of school, she enjoys boat related activities, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
