Background Information on Early Childhood Development in South Africa
Before arriving in Cape Town, our team spent the seven weeks prior researching the processes, developments, and struggles of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) sector of South Africa. We utilized previous teams’ compilations of documents needed for registration to continue working in expanding the Cape Town Project Centre resources available to all. Our background research focused on the challenges facing ECD, different steps of the registration process, and sustaining operation of an ECD Centre.
