Have you ever had an idea that you’d like to turn into a play, or do you have a script that has been just sitting in your drawer?
Members of WPI’s Masque and Alpha Psi Omega (drama honor society) will hold a workshop Friday, Jan. 21, that is open to faculty, staff, students, and alumni interested in writing plays for New Voices 29, which is the nation’s longest continuously running collegiate new and original play festival. The workshop starts at 5:30 p.m., and it will be held in Alden Memorial’s Green Room. The festival runs April 13-16 in the Little Theatre.
Attendees will learn tips on how to write a successful script for the festival as well as the guidelines for submitting scripts before the Jan. 28 deadline. Script writers and faculty members will be on hand to answer questions, and refreshments will be provided.
