President’s IQP Awards Presentations to Be Held Friday

Forty-four undergraduate student teams submitted entries to WPI’s 2010 President’s IQP Award Competition. A faculty screening panel selected the following five projects, in no particular order, as finalists. The teams will share their research during the competition’s presentations this Friday, Jan. 28, at 1:30 p.m., in the Campus Center Odeum.

A reception for presenters, guests, and faculty advisors will follow at 5 p.m. in Higgins House, during which President Dennis Berkey will announce the placement of the awards.

To be considered for a President’s IQP Award, projects must be superior in conception, execution, and presentation. The awards consist of certificates of merit and honoraria for the students, and certificates of merit for the project advisors.
