Candy Sidner served with Sonia Chernova as local arrangements chairs for the 7th International Human Robot Interaction conference held March 5-9, in Boston. Candy and Sonia also served on the senior PC for the conference.
She served as a reviewer for the EU project NIFTI, a USAR multi-robot project funded project. The review included a day at the Montelibretti Training Center for Italian firefighters where the project demonstrated its robots in a full scale accident tunnel.
