Earlier this year, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) released its 2015 Job Outlook report, which is generated from surveying organizations that plan to hire graduates in 2015. Responses from 260 surveys outlined the bachelor’s and master’s degrees most in demand by organizations recruiting new college graduates. The national results are highlighted in the graph below:

STEM and business-related majors made up a majority of the top 10 for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Looking comprehensively, finance, accounting, and computer science were the 3 majors most sought in the upcoming graduating class.

WPI’s curriculum aligns well with these high demand majors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At WPI, 43.4% of undergraduate students are majoring in these disciplines, and a whopping 60% of master’s level students are in these fields.*
