Did You Know

There’s no better time to learn than this summer.

If you have a Worcester Public Library card, search their online catalog to download Pimsleur’s audio language series and other language teaching series. Keywords: Sound Recordings For English Speakers .  Also try learning with audio downloads for mp3 players from C/W Mars with a WPL or C/W Mars card.

Don’t have a WPL card? Try one of these websites for free help:

  • Annenberg Media: Video on Demand in English, French, Spanish, and German, co-produced by WGBH
  • BBC Languages: Free audio/video in seven major languages, some learning options for additional languages
  • iLoveLanguages: Comprehensive catalog of language-related resources online

Connect with people who are also learning or speak the language you wish to learn via sites such as Live Mocha, My Happy Planet, Italki or MyLanguageExchange.Com.  Let us know what additional web sites you have found useful.
