Images of China : Library exhibition by Chinese Student Association

This exhibit, in the Class of ’41 Gallery, 3rd Floor of Gordon Library. is sponsored by the Chinese Student Organization (CSA) of WPI and is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture. The photographs were taken by our members from all parts of China, showing both city and countryside. We think that diversity in the backgrounds of the photographers will help to show the different regions of China.

The CSA will hold a reception on Friday, November 11, from 4-5 p.m. in the Class of ’41 Gallery. Please join us.

Taylor and Francis Online: 1000s of Online Journals now available

As of July 2011, the Gordon Library provided access to Taylor and Francis Online, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Library and Taylor & Francis Science and Technology Library. WPI network users now have access to more than 1000 electronic journals within these two collections.

Announcing a new feature within the library catalog, if you haven’t already noticed, there are now often images of book covers. Book covers show up on the title results display and on full record display for many items.

Simply click to uncover more details about the book, sometimes you will find the brief book reviews, cover images, first chapters, summaries, and table of contents. All of these options do not necessarily appear for all titles. There is a Back button on the additional information page to get you back to the catalog record.
