Lora Brueck, Assistant Director, Collections Management, working with other WPI library staff in an expedient manner were able to seize this wonderful opportunity to digitize WPI yearbooks from 1960-1979 and WPI Journal/Transformations from 1969-2011. They can now be viewed, searched, and downloaded from the Internet Archive.

Serials Solutions, the vendor for the library’s FullTextFinder link resolver and the Journals Search portal, has scheduled an emergency upgrade to their systems that requires downtime from 8 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2012.

Give a Book! Consider donating new or gently used books at sites around Worcester county for the Annual “Worcester: the city that reads” book drive. The Gordon Library is one of many collection sites for children’s books (pre-K thru 8th grade) which will be distributed for summer reading. The drive runs until May 15, 2012 and there is a box in the front foyer.
