Dr. Lisa Spiro to speak on the future of academic libraries

What might the future hold for academic libraries and how might we prepare?

Dr. Lisa Spiro, Director of the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) Labs, will speak on “Perceiving and Shaping the Future of Academic Libraries” on Friday, November 2nd from 8:30AM – 10:00AM in Higgins House, Great Hall.

Dr. Spiro works with the liberal arts community to explore emerging education technologies and develop collaborative approaches to integrating learning, scholarship, and technology. Her research interests include the digital humanities, user studies, open education, the transformation of libraries, and software evaluation. More information..
