To Infinity and Beyond Library Vision Contest for Students

In and Around the Library

To obtain student input on what the future of the library might be, members of the Library Vision Taskforce and library staff designed a contest for students.  Dubbed To Infinity and Beyond – the Library of the Future, students were asked to respond to two questions:

  1. Today I would be more productive in Gordon Library if…
  2. Write or draw your ideas:  it would surprise and delight me if Gordon Library provided the following in 2020:

The contest included also included a fun opportunity to identify futuristic libraries. The contest ran from November 13-20 and students were also encouraged to build ideas with KNEX. Prizes were awarded for the most creative entries. View some creative entries here.
