In and Around the Library

Many artists and friends enjoyed the artwork created by members of the WPI community on January 24, in the Class of ’41 Gallery, Gordon Library, for the opening of ART|WPI.  Over 80 works of art are on display created by students, staff, and faculty.  The many media in the show include textiles, with quilts by Prof. Holly Ault and Barbie clothes by Judy Fallon; photography by Arden Sonnenberg, Antoinette Pacifico, and many others; sculpture by Prof. Alex Emanuel; pottery by Denise Giguere; paintings by Michelle Sayas, Andrew Turgeon, and others.  There are more creative works than can be described here, so come see the show and vote for Best student work, Most Creative, and Best in show.  Voting will be available until Feb. 8.
