I am pleased announce that Olive Rappoli has been chosen the winner of the Robert Fellman Memorial Scholarship Prize for her essay ”Character Development and Dramatic Irony” which looks at Dickens’s skill as a mystery writer. One reviewer said “I think the subject of character development and dramatic irony was well chosen, and she dealt with her topic with excellent evidence from the story. “
Olive has been invited to present the essay at the next meeting of the Worcester chapter of the Charles Dickens Fellowship on April 17th at 7pm at the Higgins House Library, and will receive a cash prize of $100.
Congratulations!!!
