Expanding Mobile Menu

Today we launched a brand new George C. Gordon Library website. With that came a great new feature for those of us who use mobile devices. One of the largest complaints we have had was that the WPI Main Menu took up the entire screen on every page of the site on a phone. You can see this on the right.

What we have now done is make it so there is only one red bar that goes across the top that says “WPI Main Menu”. When you tap this bar it will open up with the menu that we have all grown used to seeing. Try this for yourself at m.wpi.edu on your phone. You can see a screenshot below.
