Be a Community Advisor: Is the Hero in You?

Have you ever thought about how your Community Advisor impacted your experience as a first year student? Have you wondered if you could have the same positive impact? We believe that you can! If you have a passion for WPI, a desire to help others, and want to engage students to be an active member of our campus community, this could be the perfect leadership experience for you! Applications are now being accepted for Community Advisor positions in the 2013-2014 academic year online under SAO Resources in TechSync until January 23rd, 2013.

Being a Community Advisor allows you to work in collaboration with peer student leaders serving as Resident Assistants, and Faculty Advisors as well. Together your hero cast creates an Insight Team, focused on helping new students transition into college and into life at WPI! The position calls for you to have an important role in New Student Orientation in August and throughout A and B Term of the next academic year. If you have questions or would like to learn more about this opportunity, attend an information session on Wednesday, December 5th at Noon in the Morgan Room (Campus Center) or at 5pm in SL 115.

For questions, or to obtain more information, contact Christine Girouard at cgirouard@wpi.edu.
