Sharing Echo360 videos with a Link

This blog post explains how to create a link for Echo360 videos and share in either in or out of the WPI community.

The first step is to go to your library in Echo360. You can access your library either through Canvas or by visiting https://echo360.org and logging in with your WPI email address. In Canvas, click Echo360 from the left side navigation, then click Library on the top menu.

Once in your library, if you hover over the thumbnail of the video you want you’ll see a blue box with three dots on the bottom right. This will release a drop down menu, from which you can select share.

The sharing modal consists of 4 sharing options.

From the share options, select links.

Click add link. You’ll notice there is a toggle switch for “public access”. If you turn it on, then anyone can access the video. If you leave it to the left, then users have to sign in with their WPI email address. If they don’t already have an Echo360 user account, email atc-ttl@wpi.edu.

Once you’ve created the link, copy it.

Use this link to share with people. You can also use the embed code to add to websites.
If you have any questions, please email atc-ttl@wpi.edu.
