Sharing Echo360 videos with a Public Link

Filed in Miscellaneous by on August 16, 2021 0 Comments

This blog post explains how to create a link for Echo360 videos and share in either in or out of the WPI community.

The first step is to go to your library in Echo360. You can access your library either through Canvas or by visiting https://echo360.org and logging in with your WPI email address. Using the drop-down menu revealed by clicking the blue create button, choose upload media.

Once your video has been uploaded, if you hover over the thumbnail in your library you’ll see a blue box with three dots on the bottom right. This will release a drop down menu, from which you can select share.

The sharing modal consists of 4 sharing options.

From the share options, select links.

Click add link. Then, making sure the public link switch is toggled on, click copy.

Use this link to share with people. You can also use the embed code to add to websites.
If you have any questions, please email atc-ttl@wpi.edu.
