What is the BETC?

It is where biotechnology professionals gain an edge. It’s an innovative partnership between academia and industry that creates customized workforce development solutions for forward-thinking biotechnology companies across the region and around the world. Whether you’re an employee expanding your skill set or a manager developing your team, the BETC has what you need. The first of its kind in New England, the 10,000-square-foot facility is where theory is put into practice and hands-on training fosters real growth. Some of the world’s foremost biotechnology and biopharmaceutical firms—those that recognize the unique value of a highly trained technical staff—have benefitted from our programs. Interact with us today to see how we’re helping to advance the global biomanufacturing industry.

Why we started to blog?

Talking and visiting many biotechnology organizations and employees inspired us to launch a forum for these folks to easily exchange and find relevant information online, and to interact with one another in a relaxed, professional environment.

What’s it about?

In this blog, we will share the latest news and information, and best practices in biomanufacturing processes.  You will also hear from industry experts and academic contributors latest thoughts on critical biomanufacturing strategies and trends. Of course, other ideas and topics will come up along that we are sure that you will find interesting and relevant.

Please respond, add comments and suggestions. Even disagree! We do moderate comments, and will quickly remove any that are offensive, disrespectful or irrelevant; however, if you truly want to add to the conversation and engage, then we welcome your perspective. Oh, and please don’t post any private information as this is a public forum.

Thank you for reading and participating!
