Medical Device Forum Draws Diverse Crowd of Stakeholders to Boston
WPI recently hosted the first installment of a collaborative forum series concerning medical devices. The goal of these forums is to break down the silos that exist within the industry and connect academics and product manufacturers with clinicians and potential device users, in order to bring meaningful improvements to bear for patients in need.
“It’s easy to focus on our specialties and lose sight of the big picture,” said Gregory Fischer, PhD, founding director of WPI’s AIM Robotics Lab and the faculty director of PracticePoint, in his opening remarks. “This forum series is meant to bring together all the key players and make great strides [in this field].”
This event was cosponsored by WPI PracticePoint and MassMEDIC. Read the full article here.
