Computational Multiphase Transport Laboratory
-
Developing high-fidelity models for multiphase flows and addressing key technological barriers to the deployment of such models to real-world problems in engineering and biomedical areas.
-
Leveraging the capabilities of the developed models to solve critical needs in important and emerging areas like underwater transportation, propulsion, combustion, and biomedical acoustics.
Group members perform hands-on work on developing state-of-the-art, multiphysics models, implement them into parallel simulation codes, and perform simulations of challenging multiphase flow problems. We work in multi-disciplinary collaborative projects that solve current needs of the Navy, Airforce, and NASA allowing opportunities to directly work with scientists and engineers at these agencies.
