Welcome: Class of 2015 Outcomes Report
Happy Spring from the WPI Career Development Center! As we prepare to graduate another class into our alumni network, we have some exciting news to share about the Class of 2015. We survey each year’s graduates starting in September of their final year through six months after graduation. Each graduate is asked to report his or her post-graduation status, which typically entails working full-time, enrolling in graduate school, joining the military, volunteering, or seeking opportunities. The Class of 2015 has continued WPI’s tradition of success, as nearly 89% of graduates fall into the first four categories. Additionally, WPI undergraduates have seen a 7% increase in starting salaries, as 2015 graduates receive an average of $66,805, and graduates have joined over 600 employing organizations in the past year. Visit http://wpi.edu/+gradreport to view the full report by academic major and degree.
In addition to these impressive averages, WPI has maintained a strong knowledge rate of 85%, meaning that the CDC knows the post-graduation status of 85% of graduates. While this information is largely supplied by the students themselves, we collect additional data through faculty members, social media, and employer partners.
Are you looking for information regarding summer internships and co-op experiences? Our summer internship reports feature self-reported average hourly wages by major.
As we look toward the graduates in WPI’s Class of 2016, please report any full-time and summer intern hires your team has made.
