StoryMaps for the Hawaiʻi Audubon Society
Partner organization: Hawaiʻi Audubon Society
Team members: Caitlin Murphy, Riann Divine, Dylan Wagner, Zihan Li
We created four StoryMaps in cooperation with the Hawaiʻi Audubon Society (HAS) to use as an outreach tool for people interested in three iconic bird species present in Hawaiʻi, as well as an ongoing seabird translocation project.
The StoryMaps were created using the results from a literature review, interviews with subject matter experts, and pre-existing and new multimedia content. Once the StoryMaps were drafted, the prototypes were reviewed and evaluated by the subject matter experts and project mentors, as well as pilot tested by other WPI students and HAS members, and then were revised.
These StoryMaps will serve as living documents that can be updated by HAS in the future and can be a reference for new IQP groups regarding ArcGIS projects.
