2019
In 2019, the first full cohort of 24 WPI students arrived in Iceland. They pursued six research projects, advised by Professors Fred Looft and Ingrid Shockey. Student research was supported by Strætó bs, The Kópavogur Culture Houses, the Museum Of Design And Applied Art (Hönnunarsafn Íslands), and the national tourism authority, Visit Reykjavik. Students lived and worked in downtown Reykjavik.
