Due to global concerns regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and how it may impact travel and participants health and well-being, the IDS 2020 organizers, in consultation with Professor Arun Mujumdar, have made the difficult decision to postpone IDS 2020 to the year 2021.

The IDS Organizing Committee has finalized the dates for IDS 2021.  The symposium will begin on Sunday, June 27, 2021 (reception) and will conclude on Wednesday, June 30, 2021

Similar to the plans for IDS 2020, we will hold a Drying Workshop on Saturday, June 26 and the morning of Sunday, June 27, 2021.  Please mark your calendars.  We are looking forward to IDS 2021!

If you have already paid a registration fee for IDS 2020, it will be refunded and no action will be needed on your part.

Papers that have been accepted for IDS 2020 will remain accepted for IDS 2021.  However, the authors have the right to withdraw their papers before August 31, 2020 if they wish to do so.

New abstracts/paper submissions for IDS 2021 will be opened in the Fall of 2020.

If you have made lodging reservations for IDS 2020, please remember to cancel them.  We will cancel the requests for on-campus housing and no action will be required on your part.

Please feel free to contact Patricia Howe (phowe@wpi.edu) if you have any questions.   We are looking forward to seeing you at IDS 2021.
