Which is it? This exhibition examines and challenges our perceptions by presenting works generated by both satellite and electron microscope. Created by Salem State University professors Dr. Stephan S. Young (Geography) and Dr. Paul Kelly (Biology), the images explore the patterns and similarities in the natural world between scales that are undetectable by the naked eye.
This exhibit is located in the Class of 1970 Café. Test your perception of scale and then check out the answer sheet when you have finished. And please leave your answers and comments so the professors can better understand people’s perception of the imagery. Enjoy!
