On the third floor of Gordon Library in the Class of 1941 Gallery, Cape Cod to Cameroon will take you to Cameroon, Turkey, New Hampshire and Cape Cod. The collection of images illustrates the travels of WPI alumni Donal Boyd over the past five months. Donal holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from WPI. He currently lives and works in Boston, Ma.
Donal has a passion for international development and for photography, often blending the two disciplines to tell captivating stories. He views photography as an invaluable tool that allows him to share his interest in technological innovation and international development in a concentrated and succinct manner. His photographs of the natural world vividly illustrate the beauty freely available to all of us. However, he is equally charmed with the people he meets as he is by the scenery our planet affords. Unlike many photographers, he doesn’t only take photos, but also takes notes. Sharing the images and captions offers the viewer a way to experience the wonderful memories of Donal’s travels.
The exhibit will be up from October 16, 2014 through January 16, 2015. A reception will be held on Thursday, November 13th from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. in the Class of 1941 Gallery on the third floor of Gordon Library. Please join us!
