Gordon Library opened for the day and also had two tables in the Sports and Recreation Center at the Touch Tomorrow event on the WPI campus on June 13, 2015. We had many visitors who were interested in the items from the library collection that were on display. The display included objects owned by Robert Goddard, objects that were flown in space, books on robotics, space and technology, along with DVDs and video games. The exhibits featured women in space and the 25th anniversary of the Hubble telescope. We fielded lots of questions and had interesting conversations with those who visited our table, not to mention being very popular for the blinking stars we gave out!
Stayed tuned for a follow-up story about a special visitor who stopped by the library table!
