Mei Yang Wins 2012 HTS/Bodycote Best Paper in Heat Treating Award

MPI student Mei Yang received the 2012 HTS/Bodycote Best Paper in Heat Treating Award for her paper, “Modeling the Nitriding Process of Steels.” This award, established in 1997 by the ASM Heat Treating Society, recognizes a paper that represents advancement in heat treating technology, or promotes heat treating in some substantial way or represents a clear advancement in managing the business of heat treating.  Dan McCurdy, Director of New Technology at Bodycote Thermal Processing, presented Mei with the award at the June meeting of the CHTE at WPI.  An announcement will take place in the upcoming issue of Industrial Heating and HTPro.
