Yan Wang Receives Catalyst Award from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center

Yan Wang, WPI Research Professor and a member of the CR3 faculty, has received the Catalyst Award from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to support work on a new design for flow batteries for grid energy storage. The award will help support Prof. Yang, his research team, and his collaborator, Diran Apelian, Director of CR3 and the Metal Processing Institute, to continue their research and experiments, and ultimately develop a working prototype.
