The patent for “Systems and Methods for Predicting Heat Transfer Coefficients During Quenching” was granted recently by the US Patent & Trademark Office.
This project was funded by General Motors and conducted in the Center for Heat Treating Excellence (CHTE) labs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute by Professor Yiming (Kevin) Rong, Professor Rick Sisson and Bowang Xiao, Ph.D.
