Colorado School of Mines Wins DOE Hub Award

Colorado School of Mines (CSM) wins a DOE Hub award for Critical Materials along with its other national laboratory and university partners.  The 120 million dollar, 5-year research grant is focused on technology development to assist the US industry become self-reliant in critical metals production.  The Critical Materials Institute (CMI) is led by the DOE Ames Laboratory.  The three faculty members from CSM, also affliated with the Center for Resource Recovery & Recycling (CR3), will be engaged in research and development projects for CMI in critical materials benefication, recovery and recycling.
