Yan Wang Wins Kalenian Award

Yan Wang, WPI and CR3 professor, and his colleague Dr. Qiang Wang, received the Kalenian Award for their work on researching a novel low temperature method to produce iron and steel while producing less greenhouse gases. The Kalenian Award is given in honor of the late Aram Kalenian ’33, an inventor and founder of Vee Arc Corp. It was established by Aram’s wife, Alba, in 2006.
