The Strumuke v2 is a continuation of the original Strumuké project. This builds on the strumming mechanism by adding in the left hand to play chords. We chose to use three three-degree-of-freedom fingers as well as a felt dampening bar. We use the end of each finger to shorten each string instead of pressing the strings into the frets. This greatly reduces the torque that each servo needs to output.
