The EMPOwER (Engaging More Powerfully, Openly with Educational Resources) Team invites you to apply for a developmental Women’s Impact Network (WIN) grant to support your use of Open Educational Resources (OERs). One goal of this program is to support faculty who adopt, adapt, or create OERs for large-enrollment STEM courses.
- WHO: The team is looking to support WPI faculty who are interested in adopting, adapting, or creating OERs with a focus on expanding the recognition and representation of women and BIPOC students in STEM.
- WHAT: Development grants will be paid to faculty for adopting or adapting existing OER, or for creating new OER modules, resources, and assignments.
- HOW: You will be supported throughout the process by faculty and librarian mentors, a student consultant, and your peers, who you’ll meet with several times in the new year.
- WHEN: The Call for Proposals opens October 25 and closes November 22. Selected proposals will be announced December 20. Projects will begin in C Term and continue through the academic year.
