Summary of Interview

Nick Yager is the co-owner of a restaurant in Lebanon, NH. He has chosen to keep his business running during the pandemic, while many of the other restaurants in his area have shut down. His profits initially dropped when the pandemic hit but “overall the volume is adding up to make it very sustainable”. Nick chose let some of his employees go because they, or someone they were caring for, was immunocompromised. In order to keep his employees and customers safe, Nick has prevented customers from entering the restaurant. Instead, they can either have their food delivered to their home or pick it up from a table placed outside the door. Nick hopes that people in future pandemics will take action to stay safe without needing to be prompted to do so.
