Summary of Interview
Michael Leblanc works as a plumber for his father’s business in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Because he primarily works on new construction, there has not been a significant change in his workload. He told us that “the biggest change for me, honestly, is just being home for such a long period of time”. Despite this, he has felt isolated from his friends since he can no longer socialize with them. The loneliness can become maddening for him at times, but when he wakes up each day he says it allows him to reset. Michael hopes that people who experience future pandemics listen to their local governments sooner, follow safety procedures, and don’t hoard goods.
