The Pioneer Valley Project Center is devoted to social innovation and economic development in western Massachusetts.

ss-Knowledge-CorridorWorcester Polytechnic Institute undergraduate Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) student teams and Foisie Business School graduate independent study teams collaborate with community organizations on projects in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts.  Student teams benefit from extensive faculty advise, expertise, and oversight.

The Project Center has a particular focus on the urban core and communities surrounding Springfield, Chicopee, and Holyoke, but it can support projects throughout the region that have a genuine social impact on important issues in the community and beyond like healthy food, local agriculture, the environment, access to education, urban revitalization, technology and innovation, and entrepreneurship.

As an organizational sponsor or as a student, you can make a real difference through project-based learning and genuine impact in the Pioneer Valley!
