Adelphi Technology DD110M Neutron Generator
Our Deuterium-Deuterium fusion reactor is capable of producing ~1 x 1010 neutrons per second with a neutron flux at the front of the generator head to be ~2×107 n/cm2s. In this device, fast neutrons are produced by bombarding a deuterated target with high energy deuterium ions. These fast neutrons then are moderated using a few centimeters of polyethylene and used for neutron activation analysis and neutron radiography.
