We have been receiving many questions regarding SGA Financials for the Coronavirus situation. Below you can find answers to many of them. We will be continuously updating this page with new information.

What will happen with my club’s unused budgeted funds?

    • Any unused funds will rollback to SGA at the end of the Fiscal Year (June 30th)

What is happening with the FY21 budgeting process?

    • The rest of the process has been moved back to line up with the new D-Term schedule. The new dates are as follows:
        • Budget Proposals Returned to Clubs 3/27
        • Appeals Due  4/5
        • Appeals Board 4/10-4/11
  • Can I use my budgeted funds for something else?
    • If there are events or other line items that will no longer be needed and you wish to use this money for something else this fiscal year, you can submit a reallocation request. The reallocation request form can be found on SGA’s Techsync page.

Can we still file FRs if we have them?

    • FRs will be assessed on a case by case basis. If your club has an FR that is applicable to this term, you can still submit the form on SGA’s Techsync page. Please also email sgatreasurer@wpi.edu after you have submitted the FR form.

What about reallocations?

    • Reallocation requests will be assessed on a case by case basis, the same as FRs. If your club has a reallocation that is applicable to this term, you can still submit the form. Please also email sgatreasurer@wpi.edu after you have submitted the reallocation request form.

What is happening with the FRs that my club has already sent in?

    • Any club that had previously submitted an FR has been emailed about the status of their FR. If you believe you submitted an FR and did not receive an email, please email sgatreasurer@wpi.edu.
