Interim Senate Chair Leatherman has been nominated and officially elected as the Interim Senate Chair of the 35th Senate. This appointment comes as Senate Chair Alexis Estime will be completing her IQP during B-term 2025. Leatherman will serve in this leadership role to help guide the Senate through the remainder of the term and ensure continuity of governance.

SGA is currently discussing updates to the governing documents, including the introduction of a new “Judicial Branch” to provide checks and balances within the organization. Further discussions will take place during the Senate meeting on November 11. Anyone interested in listening or providing input is welcome to attend the Senate session.
