Implementing Procedural Narrative and Characters to Explore Player-NPC Relationships

This project intends to implement a prototype video game with a procedural NPC generator allowing the player to create pirates and recruit into their crew. These pirates will be able to be interacted with in a procedural narrative based on events and a map that can be navigated to engage in different activities, which will be affected by the crew’s configuration.

In summary, the final goal of this project is to implement a replayable prototype game that creates procedural characters and narrative events based on the player’s choices, developing engaging relationships between the captain and their crew.
