About me:
Danyuo Yiporo (Ph.D.) is a Ghanaian and a full-time faculty member at the Ashesi University, Accra-Ghana in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Yiporo has strong teaching (with seven years of teaching experience) and research track records. He is committed to interdisciplinary and collaborative research with over 35 peer-reviewed journal publications. His recent google scholar citation stands at 165 citations (h-index 7, i10-index 5) with a Scopus citation index of 13. Research:
Research interest includes micro-fluidic implants/biomedical devices for localized cancer drug delivery, nanocomposites for hyperthermia and drug delivery, biodegradable 3D scaffolds for cancer treatment and tissue repair, synthesis and sintering of hydroxy appetite for hard tissues, water filtration (for the removal of heavy metals, particulates, and bacteria), composite-based structures for sustainable development (treatment of natural fibers for structural applications, recycling of plastics for structural application), etc.
