Abstract: This MQP focuses on taking recycled canola oil from Morgan Dining Hall and converting it into a 3D printed resin through a one-step synthesis reaction involving an inhibitor and a catalyst, and curing. It’s still in the research phase, but if 3D printed resin is produced this way it would solve the problem of petrochemicals being detrimental to the environment, as canola oil has similar enough chemical cross-linkage to take its place.
