Social inclusion and accessibility are central to Thessaloniki’s vision of a vibrant, equitable urban community. As the city grows and diversifies, initiatives supporting marginalized groups—including people with disabilities, immigrants, and refugees—have become increasingly vital. Over the years, WPI students have worked with non-profits and NGOs on research focused on reducing barriers and ensuring all residents can fully participate in public life.
