Healthcare Information Technology Management Graduate Certificate
Promoting Systems Thinking and Essential Leadership Skills
Healthcare information technology (HIT) holds the promise of helping to fundamentally transform US health care. Individuals with the ability to understand critical systems design issues are in demand and will affect the full value potential that can be attained from a data-intensive healthcare delivery system.
UMass Memorial Senior Leadership has designed a specialized graduate certificate program in collaboration with WPI to allow qualified IT professionals a highly relevant health care systems career path in today’s economy and business environment. The program is constructed with a solid foundation of systems thinking and key topics to foster essential leadership skills.
“The best investment for the future is not new software and technology but developing and growing our staff. This program is an opportunity to strengthen our skills, challenge ourselves and ensure our staff are equipped for the future of health information technology.”
