
Lily is a Masters student in the Biology & Biotechnology department at WPI. She started in the Vieux lab in October 2024 working on understanding the TNTs associated with mRNA tailing regulation in the MZT in C. elegans. She got her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Lehigh University in 2021. She then spent 2.5 years working in the Biotech industry in Boston, producing synthetic DNA and RNA for gene therapies. Her current research interests lie in applying RNA biology and regulation to gene therapy treatments. In her free time she enjoys reading fantasy novels, baking bread and rowing.
