Winter 2017
During Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s C term (January 12 – March 3, 2017), WPI students from a variety of majors engaged in three different community based research projects.
Winter 2017 project sponsors included:
- Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester
- Seven Hills Foundation
- Wachusett Earthday, Inc.
- WalkBike Worcester
- Worcester Art Museum
In preparation for their community engagement project, a.k.a. Interactive Qualifying Project or IQP, students completed a preparatory course where they drafted project proposals contextualizing the issue their project tackled and detailed a proposed methodology for accomplishing the project objectives.
